Thanks for this material. At 17:45, you could have used the fourth rule to solve row 5 from row 1, as they can’t be identical. This could have prevented a trial and error. Cheers 😊

15:11 luckily you were right, as you forgot to erase the first 0 you put just as an example. Could've been a disaster xD

Haha. After rewatching it I tore out some hairs of obvious things that I should’ve done earlier or corrected. But I guess when you are recording a form of tunnel vision sets in.

this confused me so much as I was trying to solve the puzzle at the same time😅. Happy someone else noticed it as well

5:54, i dont understand why that box only can be zero ? Why not 1 ?
@ForgottenGamesАй бұрын
Because every 3 tiles have at least have one 1 and we only need two more 1s and there are seven tiles left so if the last one wouldn’t be 0. Then either of the other 2 blocks of 3 cant have at least one 1

Where do you do these puzzles? Because I can't find a website or app where I can give the tiles a colour.

I buy actual puzzle books :p. But what I sometimes do is I have a Google Spreadsheet setup (or Excel would work). And you just create a template and make a new sheet copied from the template and fil in the few starting numbers there

Thank you very much, I will try that.😄

I think sometimes the puzzle is known as Binairo. It makes it much easier to search as "binary puzzle" is a bit too generic on Google.

It has apps on google play store also if you'd like

0:42 This is terrible advice. Even with four star puzzles I often use the last rule to solve the puzzle without resorting to guesswork... When you feel the need to guess, there's probably a clue hidden in two awfully similar rows or columns...

I think I have about 1/5 puzzles where I have to rely on that rule. But it’s still a rule and I at least check it once every game when I feel like getting stuck. Not sure if ‘it almost never occurs’ could be considered terrible advice.

@@ForgottenGames It might depend on the manufacturer of the puzzles, but I need it often. Sometimes I even need to use it multiple times per puzzle to get any further without having to resort to guessing...
