Just found this, looking at what "how to" videos are out there. Parts 2 and 3 not yet seen. I would be wary about implying that cryptic crosswords are quite easy or "you can do it" without something like "… all on your own, one day". Becoming a good enough solver to complete whole puzzles quite simply needs a lot of unsuccessful attempts without giving up. OTOH, full marks for counting clues using first or alternate letters of words as the same kind as hidden words, which is often only used for the "continuous sequence" kind.
