Bro I had this issue with my YSIDO flight controller and it was because the GPS what hooked up to it. I tried to disconnect the ESC and that didnt work but as soon as I disconnected the GPS, Impulse RC found it and fixed the DFU drivers. Thanks bro so damn much.

Thanks dude this worked in INAV 7 trying to update a speedybee F405 wing board to V7.0 from 6. its a stack and after remving from the bottom ESC board it worked.

Instead of desoldering simply type "BL" into CLI and hit enter. This will disconnect and put you into DFU mode. Then proceed with your firmware flash.
