Hello 👋 as it turns out staking Matic is only supported on ETH network and so it is not possible to stake your Matic using Polygon web wallet. We hope this helps.

Do I have to use metamask for the ledger? To be honest I prefer just swapping it over from coinbase etc

Hi, Your concern is totally understandable but don't worry you don't have to use Metamask. It is completely optional. You can do almost everything (buy, sell, swap, etc) directly in the Ledger Live application as explained here - support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404382337297-Ledger-Live-interface-overview?docs=true. Metamask is a third-party wallet that act only as a visual interface to see and manage the cryptos and helps the users who want to connect to different DApps. The private key is secured in the Ledger device as explained here - www.ledger.com/academy/hardwarewallet/ledger-and-third-party-wallets For swapping, you can try different apps within the Ledger Live Desktop application like Wyre (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404422869265-Swap-crypto-with-Wyre?docs=true), Changelly (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404381458065-Swap-crypto-with-Changelly?docs=true), Paraswap (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020907378-Swap-crypto-with-Paraswap?docs=true). Else, you can send your cryptos (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404382228753-Send-crypto-assets-?docs=true) to an exchange account (like Coinbase), swap them there, and transfer back your cryptos to the Ledger-protected account (support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/4404389453841-Receive-crypto-assets?docs=true).

Hello, Last year I connected my ledger X to metamask in firefox browser. Since then, I have lost access to my assets due to Firefox dropping support for the legacy U2F JavaScript API. It's unbelievable that firefox would do this, but it's true. Can I use my seed phrase from firefox metamask wallet and import that same wallet on to Chrome and get access to my assets again?

Hi Dan, I sended FTM coin from Binance to my ledger and I chose POLYGON protocol because was cheaper and still the FTM did not appear on the Ledger !

Hey Dan I have been struggling with this for weeks! I have a new Nano S Plus and I am trying to connect to Meta Mask. I followed all your tips precisely. Updated Chrome, Ledger Live, (then closed Ledger Live.) and my device Firmware, Updated MM ,Expanded it. Followed all the steps but it does not display the correct addresses! I tried all 3 different paths in the dropdown Menu and it just doesn't display my accounts!

How do I move the NFTs from opensea to the ledger account?

Hey there, your NFTs are not on OpenSea, they are on your Ethereum address on the blockchain connected to OpenSea's marketplace! We assume you are using Metamask with OpenSea and checking how to transfer them to your Ledger protected ETH account? First you will need to setup your Ledger device: - set up PIN - generate 24 words recovery phrase from device - establish genuine connection with Ledger Live Then install the ETH app and add an account for it so that you will be able to generate your ETH address (protected by Ledger) And then you are able to send your NFTs from your hot wallet address to your Ledger protected address! No help at all, My Ledger device says the following > Prior to clicking confirm: - Plug in your Ledger device and select the Ethereum app, ledger is connected and the Ethereum app is updated and opened, still, nothing is poping up for conforming transactions.
