READ BEFORE COMMENTING [Common Problems] If you are having trouble with the centers and corners not matching up correctly when doing the first layer, you messed up the color scheme while building the centers. If you are having trouble with the edges or corners being in a weird position on the last layer, then you skipped the end of the video. This is called parity, beginning at 15:46. If you are having trouble with pairing edges (but not the last two), make sure you have two edges with a matching pair next to each other, and at least one unsolved edge on the top (or bottom) of the cube. Now, do a wide turn to pair them up, move the pair onto the top layer, replacing it with the unsolved edge, and undo the slice turn. If you are having trouble with pairing the last two edges, I will reiterate my instructions from the tutorial. Align the edges next to each other exactly like before, except flipped around so that the colors do not match if you were to pair them up. Now, do a wide turn as if you were pairing them up, execute the algorithm (R F' U R' F) with the "pair" on the right, and undo the slice turn. Other than this advice, unless you have a very specific question, I would recommend being resourceful and searching elsewhere for a different perspective on the problem!

A big pointer that I wanted to throw out to everyone who is having difficulty building the center pieces is to take a look at the corner pieces for reference, it’s such a big help. For ex. I see a blue, red white corner piece. I’m building the blue on top, that means white should be facing you and red will be to the right.

This is the best tutorial. Noah Richardson's 3x3 tutorial was good but he added way too many algorithms for the 4x4 and made it too complicated. This one is shorter than the others but it explains everything. Who cares if he has more views, I strongly recommend this video for anyone who wants to learn.
