As of right now, he's taught me the 3x3 and 2x2. It's not much, but I'm planning on learning my whole collection (besides floppy cube and this random, unpopular puzzle)! As of right now, my collection is: 3x3, 2x2, Floppy Cube (1x3x3), Kilominx, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Pyramorphix, and Skewb. There is 1 more, which is the unpopular puzzle in which I don't know the name of. It's like a 1x2x3, but pillowed.

I just ordered one of these. Should be here in a couple days! I got it simply because i know how to solve the 2x2 and this just looked too fun. Here's a trick I figured out. In the PLL case with 2 bars, you can solve it instantly by holding it so one bar is in the front and the other is in the back left. If it is in the back right, just rotate the kilominx. Then do a J-Perm and it is solved. :)

Hey! I got a PLL case aside from the two you went over. Anyone know why this happened? I didn't use the first algorithm ( R' D' R D) for every single corner. I solved the middle second layer intuitively, and a few of the 3rd layer that way as well. If anyone's really interested, I'll provide the case... My first layer "white" face is the dark blue face, so light blue is my last layer color... in clockwise from a top view of the puzzle the pieces are: (lightblue/grey/orange), (lb/grey/tan), (lb/green/tan), (lb/green/purple), (lb/orange/purple). Obviously the rest of the puzzle is solved.

Guys , guys, check it out, when you do R' D' R D on the last later and you execute that U move to get the next grey piece, don't just pick ANY grey piece, pick the grey one that has other colors that will match where you're putting it next! Do as many U moves as you need to find it, just don't rotate your k-minx, as he said, and don't forget to do the D at the end of every R' D' R D sequence. DISCLAIMER : This is not mathematically rigorous... (yet.) i.e. I could've just had a lucky case,

So when I get to solving the last layer, making it so the opposite color of the first layer are all facing up, but when I do the 4 move algorithm, it solves the last layer correctly,(meaning the edges are all correct) but it messes up the face on the bottom right corner. I keep trying, but it goes in an infinite loop. Is there a certain way to position it before doing the algorithm? Any tips??? I have solved it before using this method, but only twice, since now I am stuck at this stage. Keep up the great work!!! :)

Lots of people mess up with that step, but it's just a matter of doing the whole thing exactly right. Just make sure you're only turning the U side and you never rotate the cube, also being sure to do final D moves when necessary.
