How to solve the Wooden Shooting Star Puzzle - Solution

This is my true solution to the classic wooden star puzzle (some call it the wooden star).
Depending on the finishing of your star puzzle, the pieces can be quite loosely fit (like mine) where you can sort of jam the pieces back together again. However, with this solution, no force is required.
I will rate this as a moderate difficulty, maybe a level 4-5 out of 10.

oh no... it takes a specific angle to combine the two structures, which takes a bit of fiddling

How is it possible that my puzzle has a different piece? They are all the same but this piece which doesn't have the holes but it's a full wooden piece and I get stuck at the end because it doesn't fit :(
