In future videos could you please explain the logic of everything you're writing down? e.g. I have no idea how you arrived at 2, exponent 3 in the second line. Or how you arrived at y.

(8^x)+(2^x)=30 --> (2^x)³+(2^x)=30 (2^x)[(2^x)²+1]=30 Note that 30=3×10 --> 30=3(3²+1) hence (2^x)[(2^x)²+1]=3(3²+1) 2^x=3 --> x=[log(3)]/log(2)
