How to Solve Trigonometric Equations | Leaving Cert Maths

In this video I will show you how to solve trigonometric equations (trig equations). We will use the unit circle to find all solutions to the equation rather than just finding the one solution that your calculator gives you.

is the answer to the first 60, 240 and the second 50,170,290,80,200,320?

answer to the second is 40, 80, 160, 200, 280 and 320, you can also check it by putting them in for theta in your calculator :)

Can u answer really weird Q’s, like sec 7(pi) / 6 The answer is -2 / root 3 Im not sure how they got it tho (P235 Q4 (xiv) Active Maths Book 2)
