Professor Leonard. I've spent hours upon hours trying to understand the concepts of these things. I've seen countless videos of people attempting to explain the same things you teach me, however their methods are (for the lack of a better term) brain dead, and I don't mean this in an insulting way but there is no thought behind getting to the answers. However, with your videos youve answered countless questions I asked myself whilst learning this stuff. As a result, I thank you very much for your work.

1:21:45 replayed that a few time. Really got me. I’ve been saying I’m not put up for this because of how hard I think it’s getting even tho I’m still in the Pre calc classes.

Thank you so so much! This really helps alot! When i just started learning trig, I was dreading too learn more about it, cuz I was only taught like "you have to memorize this, so that you can do this. If you know this( assuming we have master all the basic), you can do this..." But this series clearly explain what they are and how they work, I am starting to have more fun learning it, and looking forward where i can apply it using what i have learned!

Professor Leonard ,thank you for another long and detailed video/lecture on How To Solve Trigonometric Equations in Precalculus/Trigonometry. Solving Trigonometric Equations is similar to solving linear/quadratic equations but the Trig Identities are useful in many cases. Pattern recognition is also very important when solving these equations.

I'm hoping this gets clearer but I'm still fuzzy at when we need to restrict our domain and when we don't. I understand, restricting domain is in relation to using inverses but this is still unclear in my mind. I'm hoping this gets cleared up over time. But you're correct in your video, because we spent so much time talking about inverses, it's hard to shift gears to using the full unit circle. :)

How do we know when a square root gives us both a plus and a minus?
@abdulazizal-jaber53322 жыл бұрын
it always does if you take a square number, but if you restrict the domain or if you want the outcome to be positive, you take the positive one, if you want the outcome to be negative, you take the negative one.
