I adored the food focus of your cockatoo friend, whose whole agenda throughout that video was 'is that hand about to deliver another treat or just waving aimlessly' 😊

This is great insight! I especially appreciate the correction of our human brain to assume ‘hate’ from our birds when they try to harm us. I found it so interesting that the gray attacking the man ultimately wanted attention.

I just got a 9 month quaker the family I got her from let her attack their dogs they , thought she was cute. Now she's attacking my dogs and wont sit anywhere but on your head. She walks the floor waiting to jump on the dogs. How can I change the behavior? What are you giving for a treat in the video?

I use bits of nut or small seeds for my training, but anything the bird prefers as their most favorite treat is what we use. We have several free training challenges on our website avian-behavior.org/training-services/online-courses/
