Thanks for posting this. I got bored of healer/DPS and playing this has been a lot of fun, I appreciate your videos. I do have a question, how do you play vs double DPS? Do you go Gig or Res? Do you and spirit both switch to frost shield? Thanks!

Thank you for this lovely comment. Against other double dps with soulscythe spirit hunter there’s a few ways to play it. I would try to one shot a clothie or leather without fort sterling cape. If they have a cc frontline and isn’t in cloth or leather or if they have fort sterling, then I would suggest playing defensively and either out trading them with forceful swing roll boots or count on absorbing their damage, then hopefully killing them afterwards. For the question of gig or res. Resistance potion is good against super long cc comps like grail seeker or heretic cape quarterstaff class or hammer class. Gigantify is better into everything else especially gloves that has a lot of knock ups and knockbacks. Frost shield is good, but it won’t save you from stun comps or double dps most of the time so count on the res pot or gig pot to do so. Hope that helps. that's a good question. I may make a more in depth guide to this as I have seen many struggle with certain matchups. In short against no cleanse or cleric cowl, a stun into non respot is a kill.

as a frost player I still prefer spirit hunter for claps cause perma has mediocre damage numbers compared to how much SH provides.

What builds do you recommend with 200-230 ping for hellgate?

Dagger pair healer is meta rn. Claymore healer is still in the making. For double dps I recommend Claws bloodletter(I have a video for that) and a harder comp staff of balance with wildfire/arcane. Soulscythe spirithunter is decent, may be worse in lower infamy. Avoid double gloves at all costs.

nobody runs cleric cowl, but it will be played similar to merc shoes. I asked in my latest soulscythe spirithunter in high infamy video if anyone wants a guide for that and a few said they would like me to. But in short just use everything below 60 seconds and rehit during that time.
