in my 2012 LTZ, I was doing some minor work and being lazy. I didn't go all out on the interior as of yet. That amazon sound deadening is as good as I've ever used. Do you want to pay $30 per square or per whole box? I added 2 sheets to the rear floorboards and 1 of each to the driver's floor board. Foam and mat. It was enough that driving on the interstate it slipped my mind, and I thought something was wrong with my truck. It was that noticeable, like it felt like something was off and didn't seem right it was so quiet. The roof skin is my next goal. Thats 90% of your noise.

I know maybe you can't cover the whole door due to tight spaces but will 1 or 2 mats make a difference anyway?

1 or 2 little pieces will make a difference. The coverage doesn't have to be much at all. Can't remember the % off the top of my head. Like 20-30% I think max. What you will hear is the amount before diminishing returns. Pay attention to that, otherwise, you waste so much. Notice how OEM will just stick an odd PC here and there. Thats why..
