Im doing my project on the cheap, so what i am going to try before considering the product on this video is find a thrown put couch/chaor and take the sitting cushion a d take the foam out, cut it and add spray on adhesive(professional grade) on one side of the foam and try that. I might make a video of the results and see if its worth it.
@AnthonyJ3506 жыл бұрын
It will definitely help. I would check it after a year and see the condition because it will get wet with condensation, so you don't want mold building up over time.

The more solid the material the better, a double or triple padded deadening with tough rubber and or foam works the best though it adds weight.

When I'm driving on the freeway I heard a wind sound the driver door, like by the window. Is there any way we can make that sound go away?. I was thinking of putting a hard weather strip instead of the soft original that it comes with!!

Can I use the car deadner mat on the plastic instead of inside the metal and is there a difference
@AnthonyJ3502 жыл бұрын
You can but if the metal is resonating you won't get the benefits of the material.

How much should I buy for an extended cab 2008 Silverado? I was thinking 10 piece but you’ve used it more.
@AnthonyJ3504 жыл бұрын
That should be more than enough. If you have extra install sound deadening over the front wheel wells inside the floor area by your feet and this product on top. That will help reduce some more road noise.
@folz33564 жыл бұрын
@@AnthonyJ350 Do you think it would help to prevent road noise from aggressive tires.

anyone ever use the egg crate foam type of material for that door skin?
@AnthonyJ3502 жыл бұрын
You could, but you need to figure out what kind of foam is it, and will it hold moisture?
@joseluisruiz37895 жыл бұрын
Interesting, how well would you say this foam sticks to the door panels VS Stinger Roadkill Overkill Adhesive Foam? I bought some years back for my 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan Door panels and it just wasnt staying on. The adhesion was very weak and not as sticky. I have a 2019 Ford Flex and that thing is noisy. So far I put some Knukonceptz Kolossus Edition deadener on the doors about 4 layers which is 10 sheets per door and it made a huge improvement. Now I just need to do the floors and ceiling butbi want to use some kind of foam on top of this knukonceptz stuff as the final Touch and to help prevent plastic squeak noises and crap like that. I'm willing to pay for good product. Like putting that stinger Roadkill Overkill on the ceiling would be a BAD Idea as it would definitely fall off and be useless. Thanks for your time my man. I greatly appreciate it and I feed my brain off your knowledge.
@AnthonyJ3505 жыл бұрын
I would do Dynamat Xtreme on the roof, might cost a but more but it's made in the USA and proven in vertical applications like that. The Hushmat foam is very sticky and should work well in your door skins.
