@@xtm-lounge8137 I’d recommend the Ableton version because it comes out a little higher quality somehow, but if Ableton is too weird the FL version gets great results. Especially with the waves plugins. I’ve increased the available units for the basic version lil peep vol 1

It does matter where you put autotune in the mix. Put autotune after all the EQs and compression so autotune doesn’t have to work as hard, because the lower frequencies make that happen

Hey bro you are right! I guess I said it doesn’t matter in the video. Thanks for the correction. It definitely produces a cleaner sound and in professional studios the mic is padded and going thru EQ and compression before the auto tune. For an absolutely clean modern rap sound. I would do. EQ cut to 100hz. Then a -5db shelf from 100hz to 11k hz. Then remove bad frequency’s if any. Then de ess, then a lcompression only a 4 ratio. So it’s not too aggressive. Waves tune real time cause it’s a million times better and cheaper than auto tune. Some slight distortion to bring in harmonics and warmness. I know nobody asked but someone will see this and get a clean ass chain

Hey Simon, by putting FX on ALL channels AND having FX on the Vocal group, it creates a much more powerful and effective sound than just putting it on the group.

@@rubenn7212 yeah I copy and paste for example for KZbin. You would actually need to record 1 layer at a time.. 1. after you record the first layer or the first lead vox. You will mix and add effects. Then, you click all the effects and right click then group the fx. Right click and copy the fx group and create a new track, record your next vocal layer and now paste the fx. Repeats until you have about 6 vocal layers.
