7:07, putting a major chord at the end of a minor progression is what we call a "picardy third" (tierce picarde), it's very common in Bach for example, Schubert does the exact opposite, it's very welcomed in music in general, gives a lift and a good surprise and it can be pretty good for atmospheric black metal, since you repeat riffs a lot, you make it less boring by adding a picardy third.

In an interview, or correspondence, (I used to distribute his works) he mentioned that one of his ambient sources was from when he accidentally hit record on his tape player whilst on a train journey and recorded the sounds of the train, passing over rail sections etc.

How to Gnaw their Tongues would be awesome. Although I have the suspicion that he has just drilled a hole in his backyard which leads to several chambers of hell, and whenever he wants to release an album, he just drops a microphone in there and records. But there's probably an easier way to recreate it without needing to ruin earth's crust.

I have to say that at first I was a bit skeptical when you started to play around with the riffs but the song was actually very good. Only the production was maybe too good still 😂. And the ambient parts didn't really give me strong winter vibes paysage gives. Paysage d'hiver is truly one of its kind and the latest album took a different route but it very much grew on me and still had a wintery sound although this time quite different than on earlier albums. I was so excited when I saw the notification that you had made a video about paysage d'hiver. Since I found the project I have been obsessed with it to some extent. He really deserves recognition. And I'm always blown away by your musical talent. I also found urfaust and thought that I should listen to them more but never did. Your cover of urfaust has really made me pay attention to the fact that I should listen to that album from them. That cover of yours was perfect and so point on. Amazing. Could you maybe do this kind of video or a cover about mgla? They're one of my favorite bands at the moment.
