Discussion of the results***(expanded version of conclusion-says what the researcher deducted from the result) 6. Introduction (provides the background information of the study- 1st and last paragraph - if needed then the rest ) ****Limitations ( if it is there, then read it)

This was greatly helpful but I do have a question. Why did the fact that the one that was about high school students automatically disqualify it? Most college students are close to the same maturity levels as most high school students. While yes there are older college students most go straight from high school to college. Of course, being a psychology student might change my perspective. I recently found your channel due to trying to understand APA referencing but am enjoying how easily you are to follow.

Hey there! That’s a great question. The reason “high school” students was disqualified is simply because the research topic was not about high school students. It was specifically to research college students. If you had flexibility over your topic then yes! Researching from the high school angle would be a great perspective. The purpose of pointing this out is because it’s a common mistake students make when researching - they accidentally don’t pay attention to the keywords, spend their time reading through an article, then realize that the research isn’t appropriate for their given topic.
