I can't thank you enough for this tutorial. The scale trick works!!! I bought this tablet (2019 version) 3 years ago and never use it. The lag time was ridiculous. I'm happy now to have a working tablet without spending more money. Thank you Ricky!

I'm seeing this in August 2021, and followed your directions - couldn't find the edit button for apps though, and my Samsung Tab A (2019 build) but brand new, is sooo much faster. I was almost going to give up on it and buy something else. Thank you for helping me!

I have a Tab A from 2016 and I get terrible game lag. Any tips on solving this? On a side note; I don't have the same toggles as you so was unable to open up the extra menu that popped up for you once you tapped on the numbers. Why is that?

just bought a tablet, ran a torque app (car info) running super smooth till i got the andriod oreo update, and its laggy as hell, idk why it does this but is it possible to brink back the smoothness?

Thank you so much! I appreciate it! My Galaxy Tab A does not have the option to edit apps from the apps screen. Instead, I went into the Settings, accesses the apps list, and removed the apps I wasn't using.

So the third step can you make a video to show us how to remove those programs that we don't use on the Galaxy tablet? What is the difference between the way you're clicking on the screen versus going to settings and uninstalling the program? Where do you go to actually clean your history searches?

Even though this video is 5 years old it still came in handy for my 2019 Galaxy Tab A. I bought it for a great deal on Prime Day. I was super disappointed and thinking about returning it because of the delayed response time. Going into to developer options fixed it. If you see this comment, thanks, dude! 👍

not likely, its just a trick that causes the animation speed to lessen. removing bloat ware may help get rid of some background processes but overall i doubt that it will help gaming performance much.
