I'm going back to Porto next week for the twelfth time. $19 dollars a night is a bargain but I like my privacy so I can't stay in hostels. I stay in a nice apartment I think it's about $60 a night which is still not bad. I'm so happy you enjoyed it.

yes, I will need 2 days to see the main highlights of the city and an extra day to explore the nearby Douro Valley. Being a relatively small city, it is possible to cram all of Porto's main attractions into one day.
