24 hours in Portugal because the airline took so long with my luggage by the time I received it. I was aloud to bored my flight. It's only just 4 hours to Sweden from Portugal but I have to wait next day. No more flights 😔

I spent my 12 hour layover by sleeping, exploring, eating, watching stuff (The airport I was in has a cinema) and relaxing all while at night.

I usually spend layover time wandering around and looking at what type of planes there are in the airport. The only layovers i had though was at Dusseldorf (So old I dont remember how much time), Frankfurt, (4:30 Hours) and Munich (2:30 Hours) this is how i spent that layover time. And of course, charging.

Were you scared? I’ve never been on a transit nor have I ever actually been on my own. To go see my neurologist I’ll have to travel 2 hrs; not having a car and unable to drive, a bus is my only option. How were you able to do it? Did you ever get lost? What happens when you miss your ride or get on the wrong bus? What do you do then? The area that I had to move too is not exactly a safe area. There are many sketchy places and not so many distance areas.

I had a transit stay for 8 hours at RIYADH with no internet,with only Dominos pizza to eat and very expensive duty free shop.The only thing I did was sleeping in my little bro' s stroller as my little bro was sleeping in my moms lap.

Go to the transfer desk, say you have a long layover and present your boarding passes, then ask for a compliment or a food voucher

some airlines offer you a "transit visa" as well, but if you are eligible to enter the country without visa, then just walk away :)

Like me. I'm from the Philippines and everytime I go to US with layover from Beijing, Japan or South Korea I can't go out because I have no visa from that countries. Hahaha :)

Food at airports is super expensive. So, I can't eat eat eat eat... all the while. And, how do we sleep at airports that don't have resting rooms? I feel ashamed to sleep on chairs. People look at me..... and I don't like it. Airports transits are the worst frankly.😔

In my case I've ate at the city where it's alot cheaper than in the airport than explored the city under 14 hours and got back to the airport 4 hours before the flight it was not bad for me
