Fellow Canadian here who is absolutely thrilled to have found your channel! I've only left Canada twice in my 47 years, most recently to Las Vegas. Thanks to your videos, my visit to Vegas was amazing!! I never had a desire to visit Vegas before, and I can confidently say that without you, I would not have known even a third of the great activities and attractions they had to offer besides gambling, nor how to have a great time without having to re-mortgage my house! 😂 Thank you Aly! Love from Saskatchewan! 🥰

PV is my happy place. Have spent the past 4 summers there when it’s not as crowded and prices are lower. I love watching the various videos from PV, including yours. Once I retire from education in a couple years, I plan on visiting PV during the winter months. Great video and enjoy the holiday season

@ it’s in the mid 80’s but humidity is high. Since I live in the Central Valley of California where it gets to 110 degree and higher, the humidity is a nice trade off to the deep heat of where I live. If PV is humid, I just jump ito the pool at the condo I stay at. Love PV

When we were planning our trip 2 years ago, your videos were a HUGE help! We walked over the pedestrian bridge to the city taxis and tried some of your food recos. The taco stand across from panchos, the birria at Chanfay etc. We stayed at Posada Roger and ended up at Margarita Grill at least once a day!! Went back last June and did all the same things plus the Botanical gardens and Mismaloya. Planning to go back this year so I’m happy to see some new places to try!! All this to say THANK YOU! Your informative videos make it so much easier to navigate our trips.

I just came across your videos and from one Aly to another they are very informative and well put together. We are a retired Canadian couple who first started traveling to PV about 20 years ago doing AI's and love it there, however the past 15 years we go to the other side of Mexico to the island of Isla Mujeres. As I said I enjoy your videos however your trips are really more for the high end traveler, $200 to $300 a night and plus day trip excursions are not for the average income and for sure not the limited income like us. What you are paying for a week is what we pay for a month for a suite with kitchen (we stay for 2 months), granted you get what you pay for but we still stay in clean comfortable lodgings. It would be interesting to see you do a video showing hotels/apartments etc for people like us, looks like you are living the good life keep it going and enjoy. Ally

Hey Aly! Wondering if you can help - we are trying to use your link through Planin to book the Pinnacle 179 Hotel, but it links to what appears to be another Pinnacle hotel? The 200 I think. How can one be sure they are booking the correct location? Kind regards, Lisa

Hi Aly, we are going in March. Do you suggest staying at two places such as Rivera del Rio for 3 days and then 2 days in Bucerias or do you suggest a 5 day stay at 179? Thanks for any advice
@alysmalls12 күн бұрын
Hmm that's really tough! Either option would be great. I think it be nice to stay in both places though (pv & bucerias)

What would you say is the cost of the average meal in PV? My wife and I were thinking of trying trip to PV and not doing an all inclusive like we usually do in PV. I assume the cost of hotel and meals would be pretty comparable to staying at a 4-4.5 resort in PV or Nayarit? Thanks for the great video 👍
@alysmallsАй бұрын
I'm going to use Pesos (mxn) because the exchange rates are all over right now - for a typical breakfast I would say average is 130 - 200 pesos per main dish. Dinner restaurants: 150 to 400 pesos per dish. This is average - you can find great food for a lot less or choose to spend more. The food is incredible! For example, the shrimp dish I had in the video was 425 pesos. Some nights we do tacos and 3 tacos is plenty and that's 75 pesos 😀
@mechtechtools77Ай бұрын
@@alysmallsthank you for the info. I'll just have to convert it to cad and add in flights. Sounds like all in it would be a little more then an AI but in the same ball park. Thanks again

Why heat a pool in Puerto Vallarta?? The pool at the Rivera Del Rio was like bath water. I couldn't get in it to cool off. I can understand heating a pool in Europe
