I've done that same kit , split it into 3 with 300g of brewing sugar and it came out brilliantly. Maybe a wee bit strong but great taste and mouth feel. My next mission is to do all grain brewing in my pinters

@@davidcarr9003 Good stuff 👍 I’ll have an all-grain video in the near future 🍻

Wow!, love this approach. In the video you mentioned adding dried malt extract and/or beer enhancer - will you be covering this in a (near?) future video please? Once sealed in the kilner jars do you need to keep them refrigerated? Keep on brewing! Bob

@@boballen2350 Hi Bob, my next video will be brewing one of these jars with DME and full instructions 👍 Once vacuum sealed, the jars can be kept in a cupboard or pantry, no need for refrigeration. 🍻

Great video, and channel. How do you find normal kits compared to the Pinter ones ?
@PinterBeerChef2 ай бұрын
@@peterdowden6337 Most of the Pinter kits are excellent and give high quality results. The alternatives can be excellent too, so it’s hard to say if I have a preference for either. As I taste test the various brews, I’m running a leader board based on their overall score. So, in time you will see a clearer picture of how they compare 👍

Enjoying your videos - just bought 2 George’s beers and 2 Mangrove Jacks…. So I’m keen to see how they go for you. As to splitting a bag, I suppose another approach would be to prime your 4 rts.. and just have a party. (Although the whole point for me is to brew excellent beer (esp Czeck Pils, wheat beers and IPAs) on a small scale for utter enjoyment at home. Thanks for all your efforts - subscribed and I’ll be following your results with interest.
@PinterBeerChef2 ай бұрын
@@brendanfox8945 I ran with 6 litres on the George’s Pils, which over stretched it somewhat. So, I’d recommend sticking with 5 litres as per instructions for best results. (Unless you intend boosting with sugar/ enhancer). 🍻

We need instructions. Like explain from start to finish. How do you decide how long to do anything in the Pinter-3? Settings, and whatnot. Love your channel by the way

Great video, I have split a number of kits and brewed in the Pinter. Haven’t tried this method. I just measured out a 1/4 of a 40 pint kit. Sealed the bag & then vacuumed sealed that in the vacuum sealer I use for sous vide cooking. Great beer results even with cheap Simply Lager kit, although I do tend to swap out the yeast for better yeast. As regards timings I look for a similar style in the Pinter app and copy that or pop in a iSpindle.
@PinterBeerChef15 күн бұрын
@@andywillis2870 Yes, that’s another way for sure. I agree, the yeast with the value 40 pint kits is best replaced.
