You don’t have to split iso files in PS3 anymore . Mount the downloaded iso file on your PC . copy the files in to the root of the usb before doing that ensure that you format your usb stick to exfat format so that you can copy big files in to your flash drive . Download managunz file manager for your ps3 it can detect exfat format flash drives . Launch managunz copy your game files in to your ps3 hdd. you should copy your game files in to your GAME folder . That’s it Happy gaming !!!

I have been getting games from USB to super slim with no issues, games ranging from 1gb all the way up to 16gb, I have never used a splitter or had any issues but am experiencing problems with Red Dead Redemption, it keeps saying the file is too large when transferring from PC to USB, I have a 32gb (29 available gb) USB stick that is in fat32 format, do you know what could be causing this particular game to have issues? I've tried both the GOTY And standard release

Same too, the problem is files that are larger than 4gb size can not be copied to fat32 drives. RDR has a "rdr2_layer0" file (which causes the problem, inside PS3_GAME/USRDIR) that takes up 8GB of space. That's why people using splitter. It's my first time splitting too i guess other games i downloaded had their files self-seperated to smaller sizes.

@@Burucelli i ended up solving it too, I just had to use an SSD, in NTSC format and plugged it into the USB in right side like normal, but I had to change from "mmCM" into multiMAN mode, and then had to change drivers to NTSC so it could access the SSD, and then copy the game into the games folder, go back out into mmCM and then turn the game into ISO format. the SSD is 250 GB but can only be detected by console when you manually change the drivers.
