Very informative video! I have a question regarding lengthy lead cores....or weighted lines in general.....when using 11" flashers. As I recall in one of your captain's round table videos Cap'n Micah mentioned that it's very hard to reel in a 11" flasher when it's on a long line. Is there a technical reason to not use one of the flasher releases out there, like the Good Day Fishing flasher release? Thank you very much for all your help.

@@Reel2ReelOutdoors Hello, I recently spooled a couple wire dipseys using a Piscifun line spooler. Using this device helped significantly as you can reliably keep tension on the wire spool. This was my first time doing this and as stated elsewhere, slack in the wire is utterly devastating! The wire I used looked well-behaved on the spool, but the wire would fatally tangle and twist if it got slack! I found the retaining tape is on the wire spool for good reason!
