thank you, this was very helpful. I got a switch pro knockoff of a smash bros edition and I noticed these differences but it was so convincing that I had a hard time telling the difference between the fake and my OEM Nintendo pro remote. this validates it with all the differences between them. I'm a sucker that fell for a scam I also noticed that on the inside of the controller the motherboard is silver soldered instead of a copper sort of color for all the components. And the rumble wires are blue and red instead of black and grey like on a normal OEM Nintendo remote.

My pro controller I’ve been using since 2017 isn’t silent when you shake it, lol. Not so sure that’s the best tell.

A flex cable comunicates the 2 pcbs inside the controller, it's probably not attatched to at least 1 side or not correctly conected.
