My friend got one while he was panhandling and these Chinese 100s are going around here in Worcester Ma. I wish who ever making these phoney bills would stop. My was so happy when he seen that 100 , but then he took a look at it and he knew it was fake and he has dementia. He got it around May and he is still mad.

You could cover things like the face watermark, color changing ink, colored threads, print texture, clarity of print (used for bills prior to the 90's), the threads that actually say the denomination of the bill, and the fact that they don't glow in blacklight (bleach and reprint). The pens will only tell if paper. The pens will not tell if a bill is bleached and reprinted (hence why 5's now have a 5 watermark rather than a face).
