I need to go get myself about three or four flatheads and put a good one together, I keep telling myself that but I keep putting it off.

What's a good Canadian block worth
@chaddilacdesigns5 ай бұрын
I don't know that the Canadian block is any different than an American ford block, no difference between Ford and Mercury blocks other than the stroke. It would need to be pressure checked before you know for sure it is a good one.

i just finished helping get a 1935n1 11/2 truck with a flathead going,what oil pressure should it have.? thanks
@chaddilacdesigns5 ай бұрын
Nice... all depends on the motor and if it's worn out or new. My 8ba runs 55# on start, then after it warms up around 30#... I've heard from some older guys they had problems with their engine and could barely get 5-10#. So it just all depends on your engine. Good luck with it!

@@chaddilacdesigns thank you.i just drove it a parade ran 180 water temp. the oil pressure looks really bad because we have a 0-100 gauge .like 0 to 5 maybe 10.we put straight 50 wieght in it,

I’ve been looking for a engine dolly like the blue one that you have for my 49 flathead 239 V8 Ford engine where did you find yours?

It's just a home built one, I bought a 21 stud engine and it was on that stand when I got it.
