Thanks Gino! I think sometimes working with yourself you get kind of so focus you don't think about other options. At least I do! LOL!

Thank you!! I like the details when building a old car, most people don't see them or notice but I do! LOL!

Nice sounding engine. I would have been on my knees locking for leaks. I think once you start swapping electrical components you may as well go the hole hog. Enjoyed and a good result in the end. Cheers take care.

Agreed! I being a DA and thinking it would start right up because it was in a restored F1... But the proof was it really needed all those parts, shortly after we videoed it running I ordered new plug wires that night! LOL!!

I sold my 1930 Model A coupe (formerly a Harrah’s Casino show car) at Pomona meet. On my way to new owner’s house the condenser went out. The system is so simple, the problem was confounding and the repair was cake - finding a condenser for it was treachery to my soul - a weekend - late in the day.

I've been using 12v coils from Napa with an internal resistor. Less connections equals less failure points imo.

In my experience flathead fuel pumps don't love to prime easy also, on my 36 I have a electric pump to prime the mechanical pump then I shut it off

Yea it helped when I added the small take to gravity feed into it!

Yes... Used sand paper... if you watched the whole video you would see that I explained it was the coil plug wire at the end.

It happened to be a coil wire, if you didn't watch the whole video.
