How to Spot a Hacker in OW2...and get their Girlfriend banned.

Hacks in Overwatch 2 are so advanced now, it's really hard to tell if someone is legit. This video should clear some stuff up and also has one of the greatest Hacker Duos of all time.

I always say "insecurity is loud, confidence is silent." Meaning that this person joining another person's stream just to "try" to defend their duo and talk shit, even though they lost, is not only weird but sus... If this person was legit and not cheating they would've taken the loss and queued for the next game.

I dont think the replay alone would be enough to gaurantee they were cheating but an experienced player like yourself feels when something is off. But eighteen banned accounts... Unlikely they are legit. 😂

I have never heard of ingle legit player that has been false banned more than twice. But yes, the replay shows how advanced hacks are nowadays, pretty sure the guy is hardware banned by now, have not seen them since.

There was a study where people self reported anonymously if they used hacks in online competitive games and the results were about one third of players cheat. It is insane how often you run into hackers in f2p games that's why OW2 has so many.

It's not impossible that he's not cheating. But the probability that he is cheating is pretty high. To me, it looks like he has a toggle of some sort. He was toggling on and off at points during the match. I think cheaters do this to keep their stats from getting "too good" so they are harder to detect. But they can just toggle the cheats back on during critical moments. I say it's not impossible that he is clean because I got banned on my account for "cheating". It took an entire month of constant frustrating support tickets and talking to their customer support on twitter to finally get my account back. They won't tell me why I got banned either, except that it was for "hacking and/or cheating". I have never cheated in a game and never will. So I'm worried that it could happen again in the future. Anyways point is, whatever "detection" system they have sucks absolute ass, so I see it as plausible that someone could have multiple accounts that each get banned, even if they are innocent. But 18 accounts? That's a bit much. I also had over 1000 hours in OW at the time when I got banned, so whatever system they have, it took a long time for it to kick in. 18,000 hours in OW would just be insane.

I pity their random teammates, if she plays with her probably cheating e-boy, it'd be fine for them. If that "princess - Grandmaster Role Challenger" is playing alone. Imagine a mercy main who doesn't know how to play support at the rank she's in. Happened a lot to me actually (ps. They complained about the team at every turn yet still refused to switch off mercy against full dive comp and kept dying). This is also another problem of ow that's annoying as heck, a boosted player plays the game without their boosters, pain and suffering for other people. you can spot these players easily from their profiles. maining mercy with less than 7-8k heal per 10 no dmg ofc, and other support characters with less than 8k heal per 10 and less than 1k dmg per 10 at gm 4.

id agree this guy is usually cheating, but some of the stuff you call out cheating seems a bit rough. I do think alot of callouts are unjust because every halfway decent Widow gets accused for being sus, after like one good flick. And you have people like Awkward or Kragie or even Kenzo who gets banned. Or People who do his INSANE FLICKS like Qrxu who never get called out unless they are undercover.

Cheaters are always in denial, and when you finally show solid proofs, they tell you it's just a lil wallhack or a lil soft aimbot, it's not unfair. BRUH. I got one perma banned, he could play for 140 hours and get gm5 with 60% average accuracy on hanzo and kiriko before that🤡🤡🤡

Nah, Awkward is just that good, you can watch him and see his aim is very natural. I would even say that while he has ofc great aim, there are much better "pure aimers" than him and his strengths actually lie in his knowledge and preparedness for every situation. Like in the unranked to GM Kiri he was missing aplenty some games and still got so much done. He's also done an unranked to GM Brig where aim is absolutely irrelevant. I suppose eventually if he makes enough unranked to gms he might also get a big number of banned accounts in the end though, but unlike that absolute clown in Metro's video, he's the real deal.
