At the begining of my collection i know a little about figures bootleg, but at this moment i just have one figure bootleg is Android 18 Scultures vol.3 the reason i still have it is because the figure is not bad is actually coo andl i saw unboxing from this figure in original and with comparacion there is not much diference, so i don't bought the original since now is very expessive, the rest of my figures is original!

I have bought the ssgssj goku masterlise 2nd hand. ( The 20th film) . Seller also said it was legit. And when I got on the box there was no ' toei ' sticker on in. But i have compared it to many KZbin vids and can't tell the difference. I think it's legit. How can i be sure. Because the and the Figure looks the same. Also noticed on a other youtube vid. Someone also hasn't the ' toei ' sticker on the box. Also the seller told me. Sometimes they don't do a sticker on the box could you help me out please. @@2_FaSt_4_U if it’s a European figure it may not have the sticker on it. Also look for the official bandai branding on the figure itself. They usually put it on the boots. If that’s missing or says something different - it’s fake

This is very informative! I personally think that we should never support bootlegs because it is what kills the industry, second is resellers selling figures with overpriced figures.

I remember one time a guy was selling an SMSP at a very low price in Latin America's version of Ebay (Mercado Libre). I remember a guy asked him if the figure was original like 5 times and the seller always responded with "It's very high quality!". Eventually, the guy got pissed and wrote "Look man, i've asked you 5 times the same thing and you've always evaded the question. Please just say if the figure is fake or not" and the seller responded with "It's not original, but it's a very high quality replica!"

About the stiker of Toei Animation i also learn there are figures originals who came without the stiker, in another words the figures overseas many came without the stiker, we can tell is original, because the informacion of the box and also when you open, there are some numbers and codes in side the box!

That’s usually only for “Last One Prizes”. All other times will have a sticker

Yeah, I got a Boruto Shinobi Relations figure from a seller on ebay that was a fake, it seemed as the real one at the time, but when I got it I could tell right away that it was fake as the box did not have the Banpresto logo and the Toei sticker like all my other figures.

I could imagine that these bootleg figures also come from the same factory, and they might be figures that were rejected by the original manufacturer due to scratches, defects, blemishes, or missing paint. Otherwise, I can’t fathom how companies manage to create 1:1 copies of the original figures.

The seller claims it's original, though it was made in China. They are offering the SMSP Goku figure for $82. Does "made in China" always indicate it's a replica? I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Do not buy from Chinese sellers. It's 99.9% a bootleg. That price is also too good to be true, so it's most definitely a fake.

I'm 100 percent sure my first figure was a bootleg but I found out a short time after from looking at reviews on yt that paint quality was different and that my figure wouldnt stand on the platform it came with plus the packaging was a bit damaged but I was naive and young at the time. The only db bootlegs i own are a couple of manga dimensions msp of which i already owned the original versions. But i knew when buying, because the figure was coming from China and was too cheap - both are good indications of bootlegs. Normally i would not buy a bootleg, but if i already own the original i'm not going to pay triple for a colour variant.

I got a bootleg of the "Chocolate" Master Stars The Son Gohan. I knew it was a bootleg, especially because it was only $10, but the original figures are hundreds of dollars so i said why not and bought it. The painting definitely is not top tier with a lot of small errors, but as far as the PVC material it seems almost identical to the original. The only key factors making this one fake is the poor paint job and the figure stand Is poor quality as well. I still say it was worth the $10 though. Also it didn't even come in a box, I just got the figure in a plastic bag in the mail.
