Hey there! So if you’re judging it by the case not being good stainless steel, as far as I know (also just looked it up on their website, the model AQ-230A-7DMQYES has originally a full resin case with a stainless steel back. So maybe unless you’re talking about a special full stainless steel edition of the AQ-230A-7DMQYES, your watch might be indeed an original casio. :)

I got a fake Casio that's been going for 11 years now, and a genuine one that died after 6 months. So, the fakes aren't always that bad.

It's a shame they have to fake something that is already cheap to start with. I noticed you also have the A163 watch. I had mine for 8 months or so, bought it from a certified online watch store and it's authentic. I'm thinking my next one will be the one presented in this video. I am willing to pay ths full price for it as I know the original Casio offers nothing but reliability. Cheers mate!

I love this particular model, so much so that I have several fakes for mod material. Not sure whether his watch is fake since he didn't really showed the watch, but you should be able to tell from the caseback. The real one is stamped stainless steel with deep-crisp text, fakes are usually wobbly, distorted, either etched or engraved. Better yet, open it and see the module.

I think you are wrong: the original Aq 230 isn't stainless steel, but it is made in resin with stainless steel PAINT.

I can absolutely confirm this to be a fake as I currently wearing the original and so I know how it should look like. The case of the original do not have a matte finish. The hand's pivot is smaller and the brand logo is way smaller on the real AQ-230. The printed indices are thicker and longer here and the upper space to the case is too big. And there's even more...
