Alfred Hitchcock is the father of the horror/thriller genre, the original master. He brought so many techniques to the silver screen that are still used today. THE BIRDS was Alfred Hitchcock. That being said, I enjoyed watching your painting evolve. Nice finale.

Thats great but how do you sign it? When i sign it i have to dip my tool in paint, is this what you do??
@Thatsspike4 жыл бұрын
Very good question. No i do not dip it in paint but that is one way you can do it. On posterboard i spray the corner with clear wait a second and scratch it in with the tool. If it has dried for a long tine on that corner i use the clear then wait a few seconds and clear it again before using the tool to sign. Sometimes i sign it half way to completion if i know im done with the area and it will be sometime till its done. Another option and its what i do on most canvas paintings is to use a acrylic paint pen. You can find these at most hobby stores and some big box stores. Sign with thise when the paint is dry. You can also use a permanent marker on canvases. I hope this has helped answer your question. =) KEEP CREATING

Hi very nice well done and thank you for sharing I'm interested in the type of paint and where do I get it can you please list the type and colors and where to get them from I ges Amazon thank you
@Thatsspike5 жыл бұрын
I use rustoleum spray paint brand and krylon spray paint brand. The paper is a Simi gloss poster board card stock. You can find it on Amazon just make sure it is rated C1 or C1s this means coated 1 side.

@AlanVonGoodleef7 жыл бұрын
you made that look real good with Walmart spray paint. its too humid where I live to use those paints for spray paint art. the cheap paint just splutters out.
@Thatsspike7 жыл бұрын
+David Elliott oh man. Sorry to hear they dint work well for you. Its a shame as they are pretty good paint for the price. I live in Florida its humid most days. Just have to shake it longer and in between uses and randomly while spraying. Also cleannthe cap tips often. Anything to help it along. Its a process here thats for sure. The last quarter of the can will spit and sputter on me no matter what so I just save that part for brush paint or stencils. Thanks for the awesome comment bud. Would love to see some of your work. Happy painting

Do you use a glossy finish or like flat or satin
@Thatsspike7 жыл бұрын
+David Marin I use gloss. I have used flat but they can be temperamental when combind alongside gloss. So if you use flat use only flat. If you do gloss use only gloss. Flat isnt bright but theres alot more color choice with some flats. Hope that helps. Keep creating

Bro please i cant find posterboard in egypt ... plz any recommended paper instead of posterboard ??
@Thatsspike7 жыл бұрын
ok buddy if you can get things shipped from Amazon . com then here below are 2 different packs. they are large 100 sheet packs of 22x28 inch sheets but should have the coating on one side for spray paint. you can cut them into smaller sizes i do 11x14 which gives me 4 sheets per one big sheet so if you make them all 11x14's you can have 400 boards =) thats alot of spray art. i do hope you can get things shipped from amazon buddy. if not you can try foam board but its best to have a shiny side to it they can be a little higher in price tho. you can also use canvas after you coat it with 100% acrylic wall paint. i have a video on the canvas stuff. let me know buddy. www.amazon.com/Railroad-Poster-Board-100Sheets-White/dp/B0027629WW/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1507333385&sr=8-5&keywords=pacon+coated+one+side+poster+board www.amazon.com/Railroad-Poster-Board-100Sheets-Carton/dp/B014FT4RE6/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1507333444&sr=8-13&keywords=pacon+coated+one+side+poster+board
