TU for this video. You’ve really helped my connect w this deck. FYI, Bicycle has recently released a Gypsy Witch deck. It’s so cool. Love Bicycle card stock. Although, the Italian card stock of the US Games deck is amazingly similar to MPC’s Superior Smooth. I was pissed that Bicycle changed the look a bit. But, I’m always reaching for it. Best Wishes ❤

Thank you! Yes, I saw that Bicycle recently acquired the deck. I believe they started printing it just last year (2023). I know it's been very recent but I'll get into that when I do a video on the history of this deck I'm actually happy to see they are now the ones publishing it.

I'm a gypsy witch reader. And actually this deck saved my life. Years ago, I was getting sick, loosing weight, really tired. Then I pulled the cards to know what was wrong with me. I had alergies!! I saw problems with the food , then went to do some blood tests: I really had problems with the food I was eating (alergic to soy , coconnut, white beans and hazelnut). So yeah: this is a terrific little deck. Thank you for sharing the way you read with it!!

I think you are a joy to listen to and I really appreciate your explanation of these cards. You make things very clear. I read tarot and Lenormand and have just received this deck. I would LOVE it if you would do the larger reading if you’re up for it and can film it without to much difficulty. 😊 Thank you for showing the spreads that you have. Great job!

This was super helpful, mine didn't come with a guide or anything so I saw somewhere that the man and woman significator cards were used for the people for the reading but I have just been playing solitaire with my deck and whoever I'm doing the reading for as soon as their significator card pops up and goes into play I will stop and read the front cards in relation to where the significator is. It's not very practical but weirdly enough none of the readings have been wrong yet but knowing an actual spread to use with them will be so much better! And yes, definitely interested in the long spread even though I will probably never use it but I would still love to see it

I interpret that death card as something that isn't a literal death.. more of a metaphorical death. And ending to a new beginning... Putting an end to things or leaving a person, place or thing behind

Love that Bicycle changed the backs to black, and got rid of the pips, making the text bigger, but wish they'd redo the artwork, or at least tone down the coloration on the fronts, but that's just me. They could honor the original still, but just even fix up the colors a bit would be cool. But you can't be Bicycle air cushion card stock! Anyway, loved your video, great explanation and interpretations, thank you!

Thank you so much I have this deck and have done readings for a couple of people with it but wasn't very sure if I was doing it the right way because at the end they said how negative the cards were so I haven't used them since but this just assured me that I indeed was reading/interpreting them correctly and also I like the additional spread you gave I'm kinda playing around with what card system I'm going to use I have a lenormand deck and I just received my first Kipper deck today so...but so far I like them all the tarot was my first deck though 😊

Two Jokers come with a standard deck of playing cards and this deck is kind of like a Lenormand deck that's been expanded to a standard deck. You only use one Joker if you're doing the yes/no readings, but since it's traditional for decks to come with more than one Joker they included extras with this one as well. While there is no written account as to why this deck has a Joker with a design and then two extra Jokers I have a theory. The one with the design is for readers who want a Joker with a little flourish. The red and black Jokers may have been included because there are some schools of cartomancy where red cards and black cards either mean "yes" or "no." If you happen to follow one of those schools of playing card divination you might want to use the color of Joker that corresponds to "yes" for you. But that's just my theory, we'll never know for certain why they did that.

Have you ever pulled a death card for yourself and how do you deal with it? I have been itching to buy this deck but am fearful of getting that card and then ruminating and stressing something bad will happen. At the same time, these cards seem like they can predict some valuable insight into my current situation.

The card that can sometimes indicate death in this deck is its Tower card, but only if adjoining the Clouds card. I have had this card come up many times in readings and I personally have never had this deck predict a physical death. Though this deck was intended to be much more literally interpreted, I choose to interpret this card combination more metaphorically, like the Death card in Tarot. For me, it means something is coming to an end, and some chapter is closing, but it doesn't represent physical death for me as an individual reader. Because I choose to work with it in this way, it doesn't bother me when I get this card combination. I will say though that if you are worried that negative cards will cause you stress, you may want to pass on this deck. Cause this deck does NOT care about our feelings and there are several cards that represent difficult energies, challenges, and negative things. While I find it to be a great and useful deck it is not for everyone. If you're the type of person who will ruminate on the negative cards, I'd recommend the Maybe Lenormand instead. It shares most of the same symbols and there is some overlap in meanings, but it's more modern and the negative cards are less negative or at least worded in more comforting ways.

It is a fascinating deck. The short reading was very accurate for me. I did wind up becoming sick after Thanksgiving, someone did try to keep something from me, I did get some recognition for work done, and I did meet with the friend but it was online instead of in person due to some things that came up. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of this deck as I do.

I love how simple the yes no questions are with it, the yes no methods for tarot are usually so complicated and with this deck it is straightforward. I did get a few yes answers for some questions important for me and it gave me a great deal of hope. Have you ever done the long reading spread? I cannot find any info on it apart from the booklet.

@@ezojanek I have done it. In my opinion, it's okay but I rarely ever use it. I would like to do a video on it but it takes up so much space that I'm not sure how to film it with my set-up.

Thank you, I really liked the way you explained this. I do have a question, in tarot each card that is b3side brings a meaning or clarity, for example if I read this like I would tarot, the illness card being beside the celebration would warn me to mind the food and/or drinking I take at the celebration, that it could cause health issues. With these cards, would you look at them in this way also or you see them as not related?

That is entirely up to the reader. The deck specifies certain card combinations but you can take those or leave them and you can always certainly add your own combinations.

So sorry, your comment slipped through the cracks and I didn't see it until I was doing some channel housekeeping today. This is a great question! You can do whatever works best for you, but it is intended to be read as it's own system separate from any other ceromancy system. Even though it has the 36 cards/symbols from the Lenormand system, if you are familiar with Lenormand, you'll see that the meanings on these cards differ from the Lenormand meanings for the same cards. Since I also read Lenormand I will sometimes incorporate traditional Lenormand meanings into these readings, but I (personally) don't incorporate the meanings from any of the playing card methods I use into these readings because they just don't fit for me. Again, sorry I didn't respond in a timely fashion, but thank you for such a great question!
