All packed up with a wife, child, and dog, ready to head out for Thanksgiving the next day... and the battery in the vehicle was dead. Removed that one and ran to get replacement, but while installing new, noticed loose wiring. Got the wiring crimped back on but hopped in to start the vehicle and just heard beeps with a key flashing on the screen. Your video solved the final problem of the evening to get it started. Much appreciated!

Thank you. I removed the emergency key from my 3019 Rav4 the dash said put key to start button it never worked. Will try the dead FOB as you mentioned in the video. I had to cancel a dog grooming appointment it was so 😊hot in my garage plus blood pressure rose due to not being to start car Appreciate your tutorial.

Thanks it got me going. However this particular fob still would not start the car on its own despite a fresh battery changeout. Voltage on the fob battery was over 3 volts so I know new battery was good. using this fob as a spare now.

The first thing to try would be the replace the battery in the key fob if you are having this problem
