I was literally trying to find a good use for a bullet journal that I bought, because I don't have time to make an actual bullet journal. Making a braindump journal is literally the solution for so many problems right now!

The Funny Thing is the original bullet journal isn't cute. Thats the Form the internet show us. When you look at the bullet journal by ryder caroll its only black pen. The beautiful pages are only on social media but its not the original intention of the bullet journal.
@ThisEvilBunny4 жыл бұрын
Very true. And it's more flexible because the average social media bullet journal is pre-planned by the week and he said not to do that.

Just got mine for Easter! It's a moleskine too, the same size, only it's hardcover, dotted, and reef blue. Every time I get a new journal, all my ideas for it go away the moment I open it, so this was a very helpful refresher! Freeform version is the best. I keep wasting space in my other journals and need a big journal that I can waste space with random ideas in.

Did you read the book of the creator of bullet journal Ryder Carroll, and how made this method because of his ADHD? The bujo method is the opposite of stress. And “brain dump” journal looks more like the original original bujo cuz you feel free while using it (but i guess without keys and and “daily log”, sorry, I didn’t see enough examples) then “pretty” journals that we often see on KZbin, that also made me think that it was the original system of bujo when i wanted to try it and felt awful cuz it didn’t work for me at all. (I mean imagine someone with ADHD planning their life in “strict-n-perfection-n-has-to-be-pretty” journal with lots of spreads *weeks* ahead - no way.) That’s kind of sad how lots of people (including me when i saw those pretty journals) misplaced the fist idea of bujo - do whatever you want what helps *you*, no judgement, just your personal place (+reflection!). We can take ideas from others (like “how to organize something/some trackers tips) but their ways of making the whole bujo won’t work for us because we need to figure out our bujo systems by ourselves, what works for us. If some one loves pretty bujos - they are still bujos but apparently it works for them, and they may have less stress while decorating it, and they love to show it to everyone and feel okay about it, idk there are reasons for it. But i’m glad that this video exists cuz it’s sad when something so powerful can make people start feeling uncomfortable with their own thoughts... My whole bujo is a brain dump cus of my ADD but Index system helps with it a lot uwu

“It’s not a bullet journal it’s supposed to be productive” yeah because bullet journalers ruined the concept by making it too complicated.

I mean it sort of is! The thing is though a lot of people try to be perfect with bullet journaling now and the point of this one is to throw away structure and perfection and just let it be!
