Could you please go in to more detail about how to research pricing to florists in your Q&A. I have no idea where to start. Thanks for this great video. It is going to be a game changer. Can't wait for the Q&A

Great video! Could you talk about how you transport your flowers to markets in a Q&A? What does the process look like...gathered in large buckets, how much water in bottom of buckets, A/C on, tips to help prevent wilting.

Same here. I am planning my seeds to start selling this year. What a great video.

I always love your videos! Thank you! Are you familiar with any type of grow chart out there? A chart that states flower bloom times? It was hard for me to not go crazy purchasing seeds. And I think i need to look to be sure I have something blooming all the time. I'm dabbling in starting a farm stand as a side hustle and hoping I can start selling before July. Im in zone 4b. Thank you!

Great job on this one! I think you covered pretty much everything..very easy to understand, too. I think after all is said and done..if you can't sell it... you're gonna regret it. Some make good money and some don't. You need to really enjoy/love it to do it. Yes..start small and see how it fits. Great advice!

I am thinking of starting a cut flower farm this coming summer. It will be my first year so I’m definitely starting off slow. I’d like to see how I do at growing cut flowers and what kind of marketing is available around me. Will I need to register as a business right away or can I see how things go my first season? I’m in NY state.

If you are selling and making income you will need to take the proper steps to open a business.

Another question I had was on planning the flowers to grow. Do you plant following specific color bouquet recipes? Any helpful advice on figuring out how many stems will need? Do the colors of your bouquets change with the seasons? Q&A please? Thx again for the great job on this video.

Thanks!! Could you please go over your post harvesting process? Do you use holding solutions or something similar? Do you include floral food with your bouquets?

Can you tell me what you price stems at? I guessed & just did .50/stem for zinnias, $1.50 for procut sunflowers & hydrangeas, $1 for scarlet sage, etc. What do you suggest?

Google the Boston wholesale flower terminal. They give the wholesale rate for varieties each week - you can use that as your base price and markup from there.

I am hoping to become a seedling seller, I wonder if you have any recommendations or info to do this- I've been growing flower seedlings for several years and used as a fundraiser for my church. I'd like to see if I can at least sell for myself to cover my costs. I am in Boston area zone 5 and growing seedlings helps me get through the winter months. Any regulations I should know about?
