Just found this video and It's great. Thank you! I'm in a unique position. I'm a preacher and teacher who has left the Traditional Church. I've been preaching for 30 years, so talking on a microphone for people or in front of people is definitely not an issue for me. In fact, I feel like my whole ministry has prepared me to do this. I have had issues in the Church because the Church has fallen away from the true teachings of Jesus Christ and The Apostles. They have become so political and traditional now that it's hurting many people. People have lost their trust and faith in the Church because of all the issue that are in the Church now. They are not teaching or living the truth anymore. And many of these Televised Preachers are twisting the Bible to get money out of the people. When I started questioning these teachings in my former church and told them that I can't do this anymore because it's wrong, I was branded a trouble maker and called rebellious and disrespectful and then I was forced out of the Church. But they didn't stop there. My former Pastor called other Pastors behind my back to tell them not to let me join their Church. And It was all about money. So, I left! I haven't stepped foot inside of a traditional church in over 5 years. My Pod Cast is going to allow me to teach the truth! I'll be sharing and talking about the 'True" teachings of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. I'm going to be challenging the teachings of the traditional Churches and Christian Organizations all around the world and give people the help that they truly need. I'm going to try to change people's lives through love, the Bible and the Truth. I'm just waiting to get a couple of pieces of important equipment and I'm working on my content. I should be up and running very soon. Everyone has a voice. And no matter how inadequate we may feel, we have to know that there will always be someone willing to listen. Good Luck and God Bless.

I was 1 day away from finishing my first episode. and my computer crashed. I tried to save it but I lost everything in audacity and had to start over. That was a good thing. Because my computer can't handle an hour long podcast. Now, I'm doing 30 min long ones and I'm about 3 hours from being done. It sounds amazing for my 1st ever podcast. I hope to have it out by this Friday. Fingers crossed. Your videos helped me so much. I watched like 5 or 6 of your videos and now I'm ready. Thank you. Stay in touch. God bless.

I usually post my podcast and videos on facebook. I have so many pages and groups and I am now feeling overwhelmed. What is the best way to showcase my podcast, blog and youtube since it is mostly the same content. Do I make different pages or groups for each or? What do you suggest? Quick Question. We are being told to steer clear of Audacity because it causes a lot of headaches and issues. Please, can you go into more detail about that. Because some of the best videos that I've seen on KZbin were from people who were using Audacity and they say it's great. Some of them had top of line the equipment and a professional set up and were professional Pod Casters and Voice Over Artists. I'm currently using it but I'm just learning it and practicing on it now. I Haven't uploaded anything with it yet and would appreciate the information before I make it my go to vocal editor. Thanks.
@psscreativemedia3 жыл бұрын
Great questions. The main concern with Audacity is the workarounds because it is what's called "destructive editing." Many people also complain (myself include) of crashes and instability. There are, like you said, many people (surely not true audio professionals) who get great results with Audacity, but the time you save using better alternatives is priceless. Also there are a few features that it doesn't support. And I have no idea how the program attempts to do crossfades, but it's truly SCARY to me.
@theoutsiderjess18693 жыл бұрын
I tried to record Audio from Audacity and the recording was distorted, and then when I tried the same recording on GarageBand it was fine
@dorimahu13 жыл бұрын
Well, it's been a couple of months now. I decided to go with Audacity, just to learn it and start with as a beginner. Many said it's the easiest to learn as a beginner. And I agree, it was super easy to learn. But, I finally see the issues with Audacity now. I found out personally! Lol. I mean, I like it. It's not horrible and I appreciate it being free and it helps as a new Podcaster and someone who is just learning about audio editing period. But man, this thing has crashed on me several times. And if you have any music or sound effects in it at all, it won't save correctly. I've lost entire recordings and had to start over when my PC restarted to do automatic updates. Or when we've had a power outage. I would try to recover my recordings just to find out my file had been corrupted cause it didn't save properly. Sigh, had to start over several times! I've had unexplained sections where the audio has distorted or the volume would drop out. I went back and re-recorded stuff and added my effects, only to hear my audio drop out and distort at the same point again on playback! (Growl)! I figured I would just use it, cause it's the only thing I know. But since I know how to use Audacity now and am very proficient with it, it's time to move on to something a little better. I appreciate all the advice guys. You all are awesome. I just wanted to share my experiences in case it helped someone. Audacity is a decent program if you are just starting out and want to gradually learn about audio editing. But you better be a patient person and be willing to work through issues or you may get discouraged. My only issue is I don't have any $ now. So, I need to find something that is still free for now but is a little less buggy than Audacity. I'm open to all suggestions. BTW, my Podcast has been launched and I love doing it. Now, I just gotta find a better way to edit it. Thanks guys. (See: EVERYTHING KINGDOM with Apostle D. Sampson) You'll get to hear the final results for yourselves. But yeah, I'm so ready to move on from Audacity! Thanks for the memories Audacity. Even if some of them were nightmares! 😂

You can use both USB mics to record the audio on your MacBook - I show you how here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJqYppRndr12rLc And you could just record the video separately on your phone and then add the files to your G Drive or Airdrop it and sync it it with the good audio. Here’s my podcast idea: The Podcast Trio. It’ll be me and two of my closest friends, one who I’ve known for upwards of a decade and the other who is my best friend who I met in high school. I will say right now, it’ll be a bit similar to an existing podcast, Distractible. Similarly to Distractible, my friends and I will talk about things that interest us; but unlike Distractible, my friends and I will open up episode topics to the listeners, meaning they could ask us questions on what they want us to talk about. (We’ll have an Instagram page for that and, if we’re lucky, a Discord server.) Technically speaking, this podcast wouldn’t exactly have one specific topic. We’d just talk about a random thing each episode.

@psscreativemedia4 жыл бұрын
You can if use a USB mic with an iPad and get pretty good results. You will need to get a USB adapter.

I am not the most technical savvy person in the world. So I have been watching a lot of videos to try to figure this out. I couldn't figure out how Podcasters put pictures on their feed. After watching this, I think I got it now. It is the podcast host. Correct? Is that the missing link I am searching for?
@psscreativemedia2 жыл бұрын
Yes. Your podcast host is the place to upload episodes, podcast art, and other info like episode description. Your podcast host is also in charged of the distribution of your podcast to the podcast players.

Im 14 and I haven't use anchor yet but what I would talk about topics like reality, religion, life, vanity, toxicity, greed, and ect But my question is: As professional podcasters what do you think of my topics? And if I were to get paid from this how much would I make?
@psscreativemedia4 жыл бұрын
As far as the topics, it all depends on your niche audience. For example, if your audience is pre-teens and teens are interested in these topics you can have a podcast that covers these p topics in a way that's fun and appealing for your audience. So cool you want to get into content creation! good luck. As far as the money, you'll have to have a good amount of downloads. to start making money from advertisements on Anchor.

I purchased mics and equipment back in Apr 2020 and have been too scared to start a podcast. I worry it won't be entertaining enough. I also worry my voice will be annoying. Like it would be better to have shifts between two or more poeple. How do you get over the fear? How do you start, start! Not equipment but courage, what are good tips?

Hi girlfriend! This is a great idea for a video. There are many of us on the same boat. I include myself because I’ve had to deal with my fair share of insecurities and fears when I started recording our podcast. Stay tuned.😀
