Hi Saj, Can you make a video on how to source property deals for people who may not be familiar with the UK property market... like auction here is a big thing but I never heard of that (rarely) in the North American market. My sec question is on sourcing the finance. What if you don’t want to borrow from the interest based mortgage? Do you think you can enter the property market and be successful with the Islamic mortgage or hpp finance given they require 20% deposit and higher monthly pmts? Finally, you recommend working for someone before starting out yourself. What is that’s not an option for some people, given where they are in life right now? Do you have any advise how they succeed since they don’t have that learning opportunity

Thanks Saj, great content, can you please elaborate more about sourcing, any specific skills needed ? finding deals is key as you advised but where to start is the question. Also you mentioned building cashflow and rent could be a good source of income but this will require decent income and 25% deposit, so building a portfolio of 5 or more units will require quite a decent amount of funding..any tips how you can release equities from existing properties to buy a new one ?

This video is misleading; I started with £60k 25 years ago and have put the effort it. I've worked everyday since then , never taken a holiday or spent money on a nice car etc. I don't have any pension or any savings but I've now got a property worth £480k with a 25 year term £200k interest only mortgage; 280k equity. I'm not complaining but the rewards aren't as much as you imply.

If you have a £10k ,no doctor or accountant would trust you with their money to help them. Minimum deposit is £15%. So £200k you need £30k. Or you tell us to start a business like estate agent
