@@TheSajHussain some rogue landlords use agencies to hide the name (limited comp) and using agency to manage the property. rent to rent if tenants want to claim rent repayment! they can only clain to landlord states in tenancy agreement!

The rent-2-rent sector needs to be regulated. Too many courses are selling the rent-2-rent hype and individuals are not setting up a management agreements (getting VAT registered or EA compliance) rather simply getting a property from a tired landlord and subsequently letting it out; thereby breaking mortgage terms, the property not being correctly insured and the landlord has no agreement with the tenants, should (s)he need to issue a section 21 or have the tenants evicted. It is a complete house of cards...

Depends on a number of things. Generally Landlord holds licence and you become the manager on the licence.

Week in contract him working asking for more money but he’s not done the work he’s paid . Can get my money back via chargeback from bank? Thank you

I really enjoyed this video Saj but i have one question, I have been advised by a solicitor- that you do not make Rent-to-Rent Contracts with the Landlord i.e. you cannot make your own Commercial Lease Contract for a property but instead have to negotiate the conditions set by the Landlord for their property, *Have you found this to be true from your experience?

Great video Saj, there is a bit of a grey area regarding Corporate let contracts as there are instances where these can be used, but I don’t disagree with what you’ve stated. The reality is like you’ve stated it’s important to build a business for the long term and get these contracts checked or drawn up bespoke by a solicitor. If you operate Rent to Rent using managing contract's then essentially you are no different from a Lettings Agent. Therefore you need to be compliant as a letting agent.
