Well consider that your yearly fees are different though. For example in California I had to pay $300 to start the LLC but I also have to pay a $800 franchise board tax fee. Your start up cost in IL is around $800 but your state probably doesn't have nearly the same fees as California, get me? Either way, it's a tax writable expense.

Hey whats good bro! Love the video. I think maybe you should let people know that you can act as your own REGISTERED AGENT as long as your LLC is formed in the same state that where you reside. BUT, if you do so you will run the risk of getting a "service of process" officer sent to that address(during business hours) and you may be out on vacation or something so you wouldn't know that you need to appear in court. Also your address will become public record.

Don't start a label unless you are making money already! If you are going buying Things like studio gear, tour costs, paying for studio time, buying beats and stuff like that can be written off on taxes. But only if you are making enough money for it to be tax write-able.
