You have a great question. Etsy when finds people are selling copyrighted material, images, they shut down their accounts. Even the smiley face is copyrighted. I am just curious how Nirvana or Kurt Kobain were able to put the smile face in their LP cover. I believe for hip hop shirts, big companies are doing that already and of course with agreements with the copyrights holders.
