I have done the free shopify course. Im stuck on the business address to add so my own personal home address isnt showing as the shipping from address. You show a list of addresses to use but they are all US addressees . How do I find a UK one?

Hi. I have been unable to find the answer to this and hoping you or somebody can help. I am looking into drop shipping and would like to use shopify. I understand that shopify sets up a store to list your products on. How is the store visible to potential customers looking to buy your products and how do they access it? If for example I was looking to buy say sleepband headphones, if I enter that into google and click on shopping, I only see it for sale on places like ebay and amazon. I don't see any shopify sites/stores appear? I'm struggling to get my head around how customers even know your product for sale even exists. Is it that shopify just creates your store/website that then sits outside of shopify and you just give it a name?

I do have a question though. If I want to buy something, the first place I look is Amazon and I think this is the case for most people. So my question is why would somebody buy a product from my store when they could get the same product from Amazon for £10 cheaper? Or if not Amazon why wouldn't they go direct to the supplier themselves?

Additionally best selling or movers and shakers are products that have high demand which means high competition which I think I should be away from, isn't?

It’s not on the criteria for choosing a good product to sell because you’ll be targeting different audiences with different ad copies, different upsell and cross-selling techniques and more. Even if there is competition, it doesnt mean you won’t be able to sell and profit. Testing is the best way to move forward. Movers and Shakers and Best Selling items are a good way to get an idea of what products are selling. You don’t have to sell that one product that has 20,000 reviews in Movers and Shakers, but you can learn about that niche, expand it some more, and look for other products that are similar or relate to it that didn’t go super viral yet.
