Hi. Tell your husband he did a fantastic job. He is a great teacher. I like you have been doing a nursing job that hasn’t required I start IV’s. It has been 10 years for me since I started one. @@AccordingToTawanda 😂 I'm a nursing student and my school will not teach us how to insert IVs, but hearing the related terms and seeing someone perform it is extremely helpful. Below are the learning objectives from my Nursing 120 course related to IV therapy. Maybe you could address some of these objectives in your IV content. Honestly, we'll watch whatever videos you decide to do though 🤣Tawanda, thank you! Your content is awesome! Continue to be blessed! 1. List indications for IV Therapy. 2. Describe the types of IV solutions. 3. Discuss procedure for initiating and maintain IV fluid. 4. Describe how to change IV solution, tubing, and discontinue an infusion. 5. Identify potential complications of IV therapy and what to do if they occur. 6. Discuss nursing diagnoses related to IV therapy.
