Great video! Been watching you for a while & I think I understand this stuffs a lot better. I do want to ask you the following: my friend’s mom works as a nanny & goes based on cash accrual instead of accruing basis. For taxes purposes, she is trying to start an LLC so she can file taxes. Would she be allowed to set up an LLC & just start filing taxes knowing her LLC is technically just set up to show she qualifies for taxes? Thanks!

It is a lot more complicated than what you are saying. For instance, many states require that your LLC is published. Before you are done you are likely looking at 2K. Also, if he did his research, he would know many states are taking 9 months to register LLC's,. I am not ignoring the liability issue but the cost of doing LLC right is very dependent on the state. There are also very cumbersome compliance issues in some states. In short, do your own research in the state you are forming your LLC and if it is not your home state, know the issues that this brings

this is not true as far as I have started a few LLC in a couple different states. Both were set up and registered immediately if you do it online and I didn't pay anything other than a couple hundred bucks.. guess I was lucky that neither state needed anything additional .. even by mail was about 3 weeks processing
