Ich fand es sehr schön erklärt, habe es alles verstanden. Ich denke, für einen eigenen Comic würde ich bestimmt auch mit einem Storyboard anfangen. Übrigens habe ich auch nicht gern in der Bibliothek an der Uni gearbeitet, oder ich war auch in der Bibliothek abgelenkt, oder es war dort nicht immer wirklich leise.

Well I will say I feel a bit sad now hearing this given I’ve had this concept I’ve been working towards for years. I have the lore, characters, character arcs, etc planned and have now for a few years. I learned art specifically so I could create this story.

Hey! You really don't have to take my advice as a hard fact. Of course you can start with your big story project. If you feel motivated and this is your baby, just do it!!! Never let any advice stop you! This advice is more for people who don't know where to start or have difficulties finishing their projects. Also this is just so you can figure out a routine that works for you. Which you can also do by starting with a bigger project.

Coming up with story and drawing the page is not a struggle for me. Adding the screentone and the text is a pain in the ass because my computer is so slow

oh, that's a real pain in the ass. I feel you. I always dread editing my videos for the same reason: everything loads for ages and just crashes. It really makes the work process a lot more annoying. Hope with time you can get a new computer.

what course is the best for becoming a manga/comic book artist ?? I not only wanna enhance my art skills but also other aspects that make you a mangaka as a whole storytelling and visualizing are the two important parts other than drawing and inking knowledge so please guide me

There is no one right path. It highly depends on what is accessible to you in your country. The best practice is to just draw your own stories, no matter if you feel ready or not. And then just learn as you go. If you can attend some classes by professionals, that could be helpful as well. Try to get feedback regularly. I know that in Japan you can go to universities that teach how to draw manga and you can also work as an assistant to already established mangaka. But that is something you can rarely find outside of Japan. Luckily through internet you can get a lot of learning material but it also takes time to gather all the information. Either way, the sooner you start drawing your own manga the better.

@@olschis_art I already have 4 works out of which I'm almost done storyboarding the 3 works which are like 40-45 pages horror one shots each and just like you mentioned in this video working on smaller projects will gain me experience to work on a short or long series and that's exactly what I'm doing ..I'm planning on working the 4th work once I'm done with the first three as I'm thinking of using the plot for a short series I need to improve my storytelling and storyboards and yes there is no better way than just start drawing one shots like I'm doing

@@olschis_art Yep I have been reading manga for a while now and Now I use those manga as study material especially Oshimi Shuzo sensei , I look upto his Works from every aspect his work is both beautiful yet nightmarish with a perfect blend ... The more knowledge I can get drawing alongside studying will pave way for my carrier as a Manga/Comic artist
