This blower is a BEAST! Moves pretty much anything, including sticks, pine cones, even rocks, etc. If you’re thinking about investing in a blower, by all means, get this 800. Amazing machine!

I bought one of these last week and used it for the first time yesterday. Fantastic machine and saves me loads of time and energy raking. Uses a fair bit of fuel though, in half an hour. Almost two tanks worth. All the best👍🏾🇬🇧

Just bought this blower today very happy with it. After using a rake and small BG 56 hand held blower to clean up leaves at a cemetery and blow dead grass this one does everything and more. Very happy with this blower that’s what keeps me coming back to stihl.

I have this blower. Am I able to put a regular pull start from the BR800X onto my BR800C? I am not a fan of the side start. I've looked at pictures of both blowers and it looks like it may work but I'm not sure. Only other Stihl blowers we have are BR700's.

Still think the BR450 with the battery start is the best! Only trouble is it keeps falling off my shoulders. Why Stihl doesn’t put a waist strap on like the International version???

What kind of fuel does this need? With my three other Stihl products I use 93 octane and mix in the Stihl premium oil (one little container to one gallon fuel.) Here, it looks like Stihl has a fuel specifically made fuel for just this product or am I misinterpreting this? Thanks for the help, Boston
@stihlusa

Hello Doug, This blower will use the same mix as the rest of of the current STIHL 2 cycle equipment. Minimum of 89 octane (no more than 10% ethanol) and a recommended STIHL 2 cycle engine oil at a 50:1 mix ratio. Best Regards,

I have been a real dummy and put Aspen 4 (thinking this was 4 stroke, but it’s 4-MIX and 2 stroke) in my newly bought (second hand, but it’s 2021 model) br800c. Ironically in a bid to use better fuel to look after the engine. It ran fine for an hour. Then a week later I realised my mistake, drained the tank and replaced with Aspen 2. In now starts with a lot of effort, runs ok, but then dies when idling. Then will not start up again. Can any one please give me any advice, have I ruined the engine or is there a remedy for my stupidity?? Thank you very much to anyone who can offer any advice

I see no need to start it on the ground, what is the point? Prime, set choke and then put on your back. Pull starter and once it cranks blip throttle to turn off choke. Not sure why This guy pulls hard to start it on his back, no need, simply slowly pull after a couple slow easy pulls it starts. Yes I own this blower.
