Hello, guys! I really love this podcasts. I'm a mother and also a wife who has 7-days-a-week-job😂💦 So I'm always listening this during my chores and encouraged deeply. I love the quotes you guys deliver. Especially I was so impressed by the one that Kathey had picked up by George Eriot-It's never too late to be who you would be- I decided to continue my job as long as I can do. I'm turning to 60years old next week! Thank you to all of you!!

I like the quote "All encounters in life are reunion after long times apart" from a film "The Grand Master", especially after I leave my home to another country that I cannot meet my parents and friends easily.

I am grateful for your vision and kindness. You are right that we should not discriminate people based on their caste, religion, race, gender, nationality or anything else. I think that we can enrich our lives by crossing boundaries and exploring cultures and traditions. I hope that we can create a better society by honoring and celebrating our differences and similarities.

I agree entirely with you both : we have to start changing this world! I really enjoy your podcast ! But I'm doubtful about human capacity to become tolerant and kind ! Please open your eyes and observe what is happening in some countries ! It's frigghtening !!!I hope that the world will become better but it will take a very long time!! Thanks for your optimism !

Hi Ethan and Ksenija! In Kazakh language "Scratch my own itch" means to deal with your problem by yourself, not disturbing other people and kind of minding your own business. It's slightly different from your definition, but sounds exactly as Ksenija quoted. Good luck!

Eureka is a Greek word and has nothing to do with Newton's law of universal gravitation. This was the exclamation of Archimedes after he discovered a way to find the volume of complex geometric bodies.
@RealLifeEnglish1
@RealLifeEnglish1 Жыл бұрын
Well, I did see those memes with Newton, but it's so great to learn more about this word. Thanks for sharing! I believe Newton is just more "popularized" than Archimedes, that's why it's easier to get it mentioned. Anyway, so cool to learn something new! Thanks, Elena!

Эврика слово греческое и никакого отношения к закону всемирного тяготения Ньютона неимеющее. Это было воскличанием Архимеда, после того как он обнаружил способ нахождения объема сложных геометрических тел.
