The most important part of getting beginners into programming is not overly frustrating them so that they STICK WITH IT at least at first. I recommend Python because it's easy, loosely typed, reads like English, and is beginner-friendly. Once you know the foundations, you can move onto more advanced languages like C++ where you have to declare your variables and all that.

Thank you for this! This validates what I am doing right now. I’m not a CS grad. I want to shift careers so I’ve been self studying C++ since August. And so far, it does teaches me the basic programming concepts. BUT. It’s a very difficult language to learn. Will power is a must.

I'm currently working on getting my certification in c programming. Watching these videos and tutorials has helped a lot in understanding the concept. It's only when I have to actually implement a program that I get lost like...what characters or variables to actually use and when to use them, where to place them, etc. But as far as explaining it that's not in code, I grasp it better

What is the difference between front vs backend ?
@akin2420023 жыл бұрын
@@aarontyler6599 Front-end is more artistic, but it's easier to start your programming career with Front-end. Great for those with a good sense of font sizes and layouts. Back-end is more logic and data analysis. These positions aren't usually available for entry level, but the value of it brings a lot to a company/organization and pays more.

One fun way to get into HTML and CSS is to open the dev tools in your browser and just manipulate some webpages. Make a youtube-video title say "clippy mcclipface", make the whole colour palette shades of pink, change the font to comic sans. That kind of stuff gets you started and gives you a fun insight into that kind of stuff.

@akin2420023 жыл бұрын
It's best to learn the language that works well for the industry you want to work in. - Python for data analysis and back-end website development. Easiest to learn and code, but runs slow after the coding is finished. - Javascript for front-end and back-end website development. Most versatile. - Java for high speed business transactions. Fast, but horrible to code. - Swift (Apple) or Kotlin (Android) for mobile phone apps. - C, C++, or C# for Microsoft, hardware, robotics, and gaming. The hardest to learn and 2nd slowest to code, but the fastest in terms of run speeds once the coding is finished.

Just unsure I really like computer programming and engineering it seems more my style of work and the yearly income is good too since its around 70-80k which is a good start.
