Some drawing experience here. You wanna draw? Broke? Say less. Drawing still life is a good place to start. An art professor told me that looking at stuff on a screen is kinda of cheating since it's already in 2-D. Drawing still life, you kinda have to translate what you see onto the page, also you learn how to observe stuff. Nothing will be harder to draw than stuff in the world. Remember, anime is just an abstraction of real life stuff. Those artists know all the fundamentals, so they can change the rules a bit to make it look pleasing. Practice your fundamentals, practice as much as you can. Draw some anime for fun and enjoyment, then worry about developing your art style, you need skill before you worry about the extra fun stuff.

@triplewave52145 ай бұрын
I am just an amateur but what I heared is to draw the character first with reference and draw it again without to compare and learn from the differences you made. Grinding out is very ill advised as this will only burn you out and never leave you satisfied.

I am another artist that has pretty recently started art seriously and me personally I'd look over what I dislike or done wrong in my drawing and try to research the right way to draw it practicing that and attempt another character drawing while including that new skill.
