maybe you don't care, but every time you want to stop drawing, turn back to the first sketch pages, then you realize you are a hundred times better than before Edit: I don't know how long you've been drawing, but to me I have been drawing for 5 years so i can see the improvement. I don't draw very much, but I'll finish at least a picture in 2 weeks.

@@kitkat-338 that’s literally impossible though if you’ve been drawing like for years since you were five or something, I’m sure you’re not worse than a five year old. You probably just need to become consistently practising if you only draw like once a month you’re not gonna see any improvement

Working out and building the body will help you with basic anatomy as well. It also helps if you are at gym where you have mirrors and are able to observe people's bodies. This might seem weird, but it does help. It isnt just about observing, it is also about partaking in order to peak your interest in a subject. This way, you are able to learn and retain that information much easier.

Just wating to give my opinion, i thiki drawing figures with 3d shapes removed alot of dynamisms to the figure and just makes the movement look a lot more static It can be great to simplify tho but since the energy of the drawing is more important idk if it's a good exercise

That’s why you put the gesture of the figure to avoid stiffness before placing the 3D shapes.
